Time to come to an end...

I started this blog in December of 2004, not knowing where or when my husband, Shakil would be able to make it back to the U.S. I was about to leave for Pakistan and wanted to post about my life and what it was like for a white American woman living in a third world country. I hope that you all enjoyed reading my posts as much as I enjoyed writing about my experiences.

Shakil is now back in the U.S. and I feel that this blog just doesn't fit into my life right now. I just can't devote the time that is needed anymore. I may come back to it some months later or maybe not. I've never been happier in my life as I am now. I feel so complete. I feel that even though that chapter of my life has ended...Shakil, Sara and I have opened up a whole new chapter in our lives as we continue in this journey called life.

Thank you all for reading, your comments, your thoughts, your prayers. Words will never be able to express how much that means to all of us.

So for now, I'm just going to enjoy reading other blogs because there are so many out there that I really do enjoy!
